Reason: Certificate holders couldn't maintain the validity of their certificates by means of the agreed yearly surveillance audit. We have to remove those certificates from all our databases. Ms. Nermin Abdelwahid and Mr. Samy Shalaby are now authorised EN 15038 Lead Auditors of the Certification Body Austrian Standards plus Certification. Congratulations

Candidates to be authorised Lead Auditors of AS+C are EN 15038 certified translators with respectable work experience. After going through a special "Lead Auditor Training in accordance with ISO 19011 & EN 15038" the candidates attend at least 3 audits under observer statues, each candidate has then to conduct a complete audit under the supervision of a Lead Auditor. Depending on the report of the supervisor the certification body decides upon appointing the candidates as authorised Lead Auditor.

Translingua, Vienna/Austria succeeded in surveillance audit EN 15038. This year, Translingua celebrates not only it’s 30th anniversary but also it’s second successfully surveillance audit. Dr. Mohamed-Ali Ibrahim, the Lead Auditor of the Austrian Standards Institute conducted the audit at the premises of Translingua in Graz
